Questions hospitals ask us
Does Cross EHR work without internet?
Yes. Cross EHR can run on a server inside your facility, so departments stay connected over your local network even when the internet is down. Cloud hosting is available for facilities with reliable connectivity or several sites.
Can we start with only a few departments?
Yes. Many facilities begin with registration, consultation, laboratory, pharmacy and billing, then add wards, stores and other modules later. Everything shares the same patient record.
What equipment do we need?
Computers with a modern web browser, a local network, and a server or cloud hosting. After our assessment we tell you exactly what you can reuse and what, if anything, you need to add. We can supply and install it too.
What happens to our existing records?
Patient lists, price lists and other data held in spreadsheets or older systems can usually be imported. Paper records are typically captured progressively as patients return.
How is patient data protected?
Every user has a personal login and sees only what their role allows. Actions are logged, and data is backed up automatically. We also help you set internal policies on confidentiality and access.
